In Alaska, this is the start of the best time to explore – from June to September with temperatures around 16 – 19 degrees.

In the east, the beaches of New England are popular, although the cities are hot and humid. In the South there are two climates at play. The southwest dry heat is great for outdoor events and activities but the eastern states such as Florida can be humid and have occasional heavy rains. The Alaskan summer provides perfect temperatures to enjoy the wildlife – bears, otters, seals and whales

Probably best known – the eastern part of the country – New England, for the striking colours of autumn leaves.

In the southeast states it is hurricane season, but if you want sunny days – try Hawaii at this time.

In Canada – the autumn foliage is amazing. It’s also the start of the salmon run and this attracts bears to see.

Temperatures in Florida and Southern States are still pleasant. In the north winter brings on the cold weather and snow.
